About Susan
Susan Toback, Ph.D., partners with senior executives navigating complexity and the inner work that real leadership growth requires. A licensed psychologist since 2000 and a Hogan practitioner for more than twenty years, she brings the rigor of data-driven personality assessment together with the depth of clinical training. That combination helps leaders move beyond insight to durable behavioral change.
Grounded in clinical psychology, human development, personality theory, linguistics, and systems thinking, Susan reads what is happening beneath the surface and names it in a way that moves people forward. She is a contributing author to Coaching the Dark Side and helped develop the curriculum for Hogan's Advanced Certification Workshops.
Before consulting full-time, she served as a psychologist and clinical supervisor in hospital and university settings and taught Human Development and Personality Theory at Duquesne University. What her clients return to, again and again, is her ability to translate self-awareness into the measurable shifts that senior leaders and their stakeholders demand.
